PuttPlug Support

PuttPlug is a putting tracker for disc golfers. It works entirely offline — there is no account to create and nothing to recover.

Where is my data?

On your phone, in the app's private storage, and nowhere else. PuttPlug has no servers and makes no network requests, so there is no copy of your sessions anywhere but your device.

Can I back it up or move it to a new phone?

There is no sync and no export. Your sessions may be included in a device backup you make yourself (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), and restoring that backup to a new phone restores the app's data with it. Those backups are controlled by Apple under their own policies, not by us.

How do I delete my data?

What do C1, C1X, C2 and OC mean?

C1X is a subset of C1, not a sibling — a 20 ft putt counts toward both. That is the standard disc golf definition.

Why does a circle show a dash instead of 0%?

Because you haven't putted in it during the selected window. "No data" and "missed everything" are very different things, so the app never shows one as the other.
